Toronto & the GTA

Websites for
painters.

We build websites and run local SEO for painters across the Greater Toronto Area. Everything below comes from our own survey of 389 listings in this field — we opened all 343 of their websites and checked what was there.

Review counts are not comparable between trades — 21 is the middle for painters, which is a very different number from what a dentist or a barber would see. The upper quarter of this field is past 51 reviews and the busiest painter we found holds 1,231.

actually need.

Pages that rank

A page per service, not one long list

One page cannot rank for everything a painter does. Each service gets its own page, written for the words people actually type — which for this field is rarely the words the trade uses internally.

Proof

Your work, shown properly

Reviews, photographs and the details that make someone pick you over the listing above yours. 27% of painters with a website still have no mobile version — that alone is an opening.

Enquiries

A way to reach you that is not a phone call

Forms, booking, click-to-call. 93 sites in this field have no enquiry form at all.

Questions

Straight answers.

Do you only work with painters?

No. We work with local businesses across the GTA and keep a separate page per trade because what a painter needs from a website is genuinely different from what a retailer needs. We surveyed 389 painting companies to write this one.

How many painters in the GTA have no website?

44 of the 389 we checked have none attached to their Google listing, and 80 more link to a site that does not load. Of the 343 working sites, 94 have no mobile version.

How many Google reviews does a painter need?

The median across the GTA in this field is 21; the upper quarter is past 51 and the busiest single painter we found holds 1,231. Those numbers mean nothing outside this trade — a count that is exceptional for a painter is unremarkable for a restaurant.

What does it cost?

Between $590 and $3,900 for the site depending on size, paid after it is built and you have seen it. Then $129 to $990 a month for hosting, edits, your Google listing and ongoing SEO. Cancel any month.
