Responsive design.
A single site that rearranges itself to fit whatever screen it is opened on, rather than a separate mobile version at a separate address.
Why it matters.
A desktop-only page opened on a phone renders at roughly a third of its intended size: illegible text, unusable navigation, an untappable phone number. 7,726 of the 34,180 GTA business sites we opened are in exactly that state. The owner rarely knows, because the owner looks at the site on the desktop where it was built.
How to check it yourself.
Open your site on your own phone, on mobile data rather than office wifi, and do not zoom. If you have to pinch to read the first paragraph, so does every customer.
