Google listing · Toronto
The listing does more
work than the site.
1,057 of the 2,700 businesses listed in Toronto do not publish opening hours, and 1,357 have no reviews at all. For a lot of them the listing gets more visits than the website ever will.
We did not sample Toronto — all 2,700 listings were checked, and each fault was counted on the page itself rather than estimated from a tool.
What gets fixed
Categories, service area, hours, the services list with descriptions, and photographs that are yours rather than stock. The primary category is the heaviest lever on the whole listing, and most owners set it once at registration and never look again.
Reviews in Toronto
770 businesses here hold a 4.9 rating or better, so the rating alone separates nobody — volume does. The median is 120 reviews and the upper quarter is past 336. We set the ask up so it happens when the work is finished, and reply to everything that arrives.
Service area, not a fake address
If you travel to customers, the address should be hidden and the coverage area set instead. Publishing an address you do not receive customers at is a verification risk, and a virtual office is a suspension risk.

the list in Toronto.
The same survey, split by field. Dentists come top here with 123; travel agencies sit at 21. Fields are not comparable to each other on review counts, but they are on faults.

Questions
The usual questions.
How many Toronto businesses have an incomplete Google listing?
Of 2,700 listings we checked in Toronto, 1,057 publish no hours and 1,357 have no reviews. Those two fields alone decide a large share of whether someone calls.
Can you get fake reviews removed?
We can report them with evidence and Google removes some. Nobody can promise removal, and burying them by buying good ones puts the listing at risk.
Before you decide anything
Find out whether
you have a problem.
Most people asking about a rebuild do not need one. The free check opens your site, looks at how it behaves on a phone, whether it is secure and how old the page is, and tells you which of those apply to you.
Start with a
straight answer.
Describe the business and where it works. We come back with what we would change, what it would cost and how long it takes — or with a reason not to bother.
