Google Business Profile

The listing does more
work than the site.

For a lot of local businesses the Google listing gets more visits than the website. It is also the part most often left half-finished.

What gets fixed

Categories, service areas, hours, the services list, photographs, and the questions section that customers can answer wrongly if you leave it. 11,503 of the 49,994 listings we surveyed publish no hours at all, which is enough on its own to lose a call.

Reviews

Reviews are the visible part of local ranking. We set up the ask so it happens naturally after the work is done, and reply to what comes in — including the bad ones, which matter more than the good ones.

Consistency

Your name, address and phone number have to match between the listing, the website and everywhere else that mentions you. Mismatches quietly hold down local rankings and are tedious to find, which is why most people never do.

Questions

The usual questions.

I do not have a shopfront. Can I still be listed?

Yes — as a service-area business, with the address hidden and the area you cover set instead. That is the correct setup for trades and consultants, and it is what we use ourselves.

Can you get fake reviews removed?

We can report them with the evidence, and Google removes some. Nobody can promise removal, and anyone offering to bury them by buying good ones is putting the listing at risk.

Before you decide anything

Find out whether
you have a problem.

Most people asking about a rebuild do not need one. The free check opens your site, looks at how it behaves on a phone, whether it is secure and how old the page is, and tells you which of those apply to you.
