Local search

Being found
where you actually work.

Local search is not the same job as ranking a national site. It is the map pack, the listing, the reviews and a page for each place you serve — in that order.

The map pack first

Most local searches never scroll past the map. Getting into it is about the Google Business Profile, the categories on it, the reviews attached to it and whether your name, address and phone number match everywhere else. 11,503 of the 49,994 GTA listings we checked do not even publish opening hours.

Then the pages

A page for each service and, where it is honest, each area you work in. Not one thin page per postcode — that is a doorway and Google treats it as one. A page earns its place when it has something specific to say about that place.

How long

The map pack can move in weeks. Regular search results for competitive terms take three to six months of consistent work. Anyone promising faster is selling something.

Questions

Before you ask.

Do you guarantee first place?

No, and neither can anyone else. What we can show is the work done and the movement in the map pack and in search results month over month.

Is SEO included in the monthly fee?

Yes. The monthly fee covers hosting, edits, your Google Business Profile and ongoing search work. It is not a separate retainer.

Your turn

Same check,
run on your site.

The check behind this page is the one we ran on every business above. Put your own address in and it will load your site on a phone screen, look at the certificate and the page age, and tell you what a visitor meets. No email, nothing stored.
